Songwriter

Sheldon has been writing ever since he left university collaborating with mainly up and coming artists and bands. These include Marcus John, Sara Jorge, Barney Ashworth, Martin Kaye and most recently with the band he is in Love Revue (www.verticalvillageproductions.com)

He has also had some success through Freeplay music (www.freeplaymusic.com), Hande Music and Carlin Music (www.carlinmusic.com) on TV and film credits. To the left are a short selection of Sheldon's writing work.

Session Work

Sheldon has been a session musician since the age of 21. He started out playing small guitar lines for Barry Blue's label artist Sara Jorge. From there he met and formed a partnership with an East London based producer Chipz. It was here he started to get an insight into the music world and was introduced to Nellee Hooper. He was asked to play on Gwen Stefani's 'L.A.M.B' album at the famous Home studios in Queens Park.

Following his successful stint on the Stefani album Sheldon was introduced to Top Banana Management head Garry Kemp who was happy to use Sheldon's guitaring skills on recording artist Marcus John's track 'Live and Learn'.

He was then called in to play guitar for up and coming artist Katie Vogel for her gig at the Shepherd's Bush Empire where she supported East 17.

Sheldon decided after his work in the studio to take his session skills to the public where he performed with the 'Wood Jazz Duo' for several years demonstrating his guitar and piano talents around a large percentage of the London venues.

Sheldon is back in the session scene again most recently on Zeb Wayne's 'Work Hard Records' new artist project playing electric guitar on 2 of his latest tracks.
